A new study suggests that hearing loss and other problems have recently hit hearing in many people, linked to corona virus infection.

Even more than a year after the emergence of the Corona virus, scientists do not seem to know all the consequences of COFID-19, which is caused by the virus.

The most important and severe symptom of corona was fatal pneumonia, but over time it was shown that the virus hit other parts of the body hard.

In the new study, scientists estimated 7.6 percent of people with corona had hearing loss, while 14.8 percent had a buzz problem and 7.2 percent had dizziness.

Researchers at the University of Manchester and the Manchester Centre for BioNature Research based on the data of 24 studies that identified a link between corona virus, hearing problems and the adrenal system (part of the inner ear, which makes a significant contribution to balance, spatial awareness and human coordination capabilities).

"If it's true that something between 7 percent and 15 percent has these symptoms, that's something that needs to be taken seriously," said Professor Kevin Monroe, director of the Manchester Centre for Hearing and Deafness.

"Some people say symptoms continue. Others say it seems like it's sort of settled, so a lot of things are still unknown. "

Earlier viruses such as measles, mumps and even meningitis are known to lead to hearing problems, and this may be the case for corona.
