Russian hairdresser Yulia Galyamova said the appearance of white hairs in the head could serve as a warning for the development of "a number of diseases."

Galyamova said that white hair can appear at an age when there can be no ageing and this feature is often determined by inheritance, "white hair itself is a genetic mechanism for the extinction of cell life, which produces a dye in hair bands."
