Today, Tuesday, Belarus began the first phase of vaccinating the population against the Corona virus with the Russian "Sputnik V" vaccine.

The Russian Direct Investment Fund said, in a statement today, that "the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Ministry of Health and the Russian Direct Investment Fund announce the start of vaccinating Belarusians with the Russian vaccine" Sputnik v "against the Corona virus.

Belarus became the second country, after Russia, to officially register the "Sputnik V" vaccine, and the vaccine registration certificate was issued on December 21.

According to the Belarusian Minister of Health, Dmitry Benevich, workers in the health sector will be the first to be vaccinated, along with teachers and citizens who work conditions force them to mix with people, and the vaccination is scheduled to be on a voluntary basis.
