The Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, said that the global economy will continue to grow this year and next and that China has begun the stage of recovery and attracting the global economy from the recession imposed by the Coronavirus.

In an interview with Energy Intelligence, Prince Abdulaziz said that there are many factors affecting market trends, and estimates indicate that the global economy will continue to grow this year and next, but there is still uncertainty about the pace of growth, in addition to China recently began the recovery phase after prolonged closures due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but the period required for recovery is still unclear.
He added: “The overlap between these and other factors limits clarity, and the only reasonable course of action that can be followed in such an environment fraught with uncertainty is to maintain the agreement that we concluded last October for the rest of this year, and this is what we intend to do, as we must make sure that The positive indicators are sustainable," according to the Saudi Press Agency, "SPA".
