While the United States has intensified its efforts over the past months to hinder China's progress in the electronic chip industry by imposing restrictions on it, China responds by promising to achieve victory in that battle, as it describes it.

The year 2022 has seen an escalation of the conflict over the electronic chip industry between the United States and China.

Although the events of the conflict are taking place between America and China, the paradox lies in the fact that the real power in the electronic chip industry is not in the hands of the conflicting parties, but in the hands of a third party, the Taiwanese company TSMC "TSMC", whose CEO said a few days ago that the geopolitical confrontation that is happening is distorting the chip market.

TSMC is the world's largest chip manufacturer, controlling more than 50 percent of the global share, and it also controls the manufacture of the most advanced 5-nanometer chips, which are used in technological industries such as electronics, automotive and military industries, which means that the company controls a frightening global power.

While TSMC's production is currently entirely concentrated in Taiwan, but after the successive tensions between America and China over the chip industry and the status of Taiwan, the company realized that the great power it possesses should not be in one place, as any possibility of disruption of its supply chains will enter the world in an unknown tunnel, and this prompted it to look for new places and plan to distribute its production to 7 new factories distributed in the world.
