During the final conference of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Russian President's Adviser and Executive Secretary of the Forum's Organizing Committee Anton Kubyakov said that agreements worth 5.6 trillion roubles had been concluded during the Forum's events.

Kubiakov told reporters on Saturday: "We are approaching 6 trillion roubles of agreements signed at the forum, so far, 691 agreements worth 5 trillion and 639 billion roubles have been signed, and of course we are only announcing those numbers that are not considered commercially confidential."

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on June 14 that "new economic opportunities will be discussed at the St Petersburg Forum and the exit of some companies from Russia following Western sanctions."

"Foreign investors have scaled back their work under pressure and blackmail, but they are ready to resume it at the first possible opportunity," Peskov added.

"It must be noted that there are no signs from the Ukrainian side whether he wants to export something at all," Peskov told reporters.

The twenty-fifth anniversary of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum takes place in the Russian city of St. Petersburg from June 15 to 18.
