Amid the lockdown in Shanghai against the backdrop of the coronavirus outbreak; The Japanese automaker Subaru announced that it would suspend the operation of three of its factories in the Japanese province of Gunma.

On Wednesday, Japan's Kyodo news agency reported that work would be suspended due to problems in the supply of spare parts. The plants would not operate on 2 and 3 June. The three plants had already ceased operation in April.

Suzuki Automaker also announced a partial suspension of work for three days, due to interruptions in the supply of semiconductors.

The automotive company Toyota had previously announced the suspension of 16 lines in 10 factories from 6 to 10 June, with a production reduction of 50,000 vehicles.

In the same vein, the company changed the world's production forecast for the month of June from 850 thousand to 800 thousand cars, at the same time the plan for the full year in the amount of 9.7 million remains the same and the average plans for the summer months in the amount of 850 thousand per month.
