Over the last week, American tech companies have lived, jumping some of their market value in rocket form, while other platforms like Facebook have taken a huge toll, affecting the wealth of the world's richest.
According to the British Daily Mail, the wealth of Amazon's founder, Haif Bezos, has recently increased by $ 5 billion, while the founder of Meta (formerly Facebook) has suffered a loss of $ 23 billion.
The Amazon company, founded by Bezos in 1994, benefited greatly from the mobility of the money market, rising its value on the market by $145 billion.
Facebook's market value has lost $175 billion, in a fall that is the company's biggest daily loss ever.
In the same vein, Netflix also suffered a major loss of about $26 billion in market value.
In contrast, the market value of Google, Apple and Microsoft increased.
These financial volatility of the tech giants follows a confused start on the Wall Street Stock Exchange at the beginning of 2022, amid the impact of rising interest rates.
Bezos is reported to be the second richest person in the world, with a fortune of $ 133 billion, while the recent loss led to Zuckerberg's graduation from the top 10.
Zuckerberg's wealth is estimated to be around $65 billion for the time being, while figures revealed last week showed the first-ever decline in the number of users on the platform.
