Because of the fallout from the Corona pandemic, with a total loss of $152 billion, 10 billionaires around the world lost their most wealth in 2021.

During this dramatic year, as described by Forbes, the world's billionaires (2660 people) have made a total of $1.6 trillion in additional wealth from the beginning of the year until early December, while some of them have lost.

For billionaires, the biggest share was Chinese. Of the 10 most lost billionaires this year, 6 saw a decline in net wealth, with massive stock sales of many Chinese companies losing hundreds of billions, under strict Chinese laws and fines linked to information security and monopolistic practices.

Forbes assessed changes in the net wealth of 2660 billionaires between December 31, 2020 and December 10, 2021. It then calculated the biggest losers in dollars, taking into account those with investments in companies trading only in financial markets.

The list of billionaires who lost a portion of their wealth during 2021 is issued by Chinese Colin Cheng Huang, founder of the e-commerce platform Pinduoduo, whose losses are estimated at 64 percent of his total wealth, worth $40.2 billion, bringing his net wealth to $22.4 billion.

He came after, according to Forbes magazine, Chinese billionaire Gak Ma, an e-commerce emperor, the former CEO of the Ali Baba Group, who lost $21.4 billion of his wealth, falling apart at $37 billion.
