The spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce reported today that Beijing deeply regrets new U.S. sanctions that prevent Chinese exports of eight technology companies from Xinjiang.

In his statements, he said: "This is not the first time that the United States government has intervened in the Chinese economy with false excuses for national security and human rights violations, and a ban on Xinjiang goods, thus trying to control our exports and investments.

Such actions severely affected Chinese companies and undermined the economy and international trade between the two countries. China strongly denounced such actions.

Last Thursday, the U.S. government reportedly imposed a new package of sanctions on China, claiming that Beijing uses Uighurs as forced labor and forced sterilization of Uighur women. The U.S. Treasury has blacklisted DJI, the world's largest drone manufacturer and seven other Chinese companies.
