During its first event at Expo 2020 Dubai, the Suez Canal Economic Zone reviewed its experience, showcasing its investment opportunities and knocking on global investment doors.

The first "Suez Canal Economics" event began with the participation of the President of the region, Yahya Zaki, and the Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Lieutenant-General Osama Spring.

The first areas of effectiveness were the announcement of the investment, tax and customs incentives granted by the region to its projects in the industrial zones and ports of the region, as well as developments in existing projects, planned future projects and partnerships with foreign investors and some States that will establish economic zones outside their countries within the economic zone.

The first event from within the Dubai Exhibition Centre involved selected businessmen and local and foreign investors and development partners of the Economic Zone, among the 17 activities the Authority is preparing to launch over the coming months during the exhibition, under the slogan "One Destination and an Integrated Path."

The Suez Canal Economic Zone participates in the exhibition as one of Egypt's major and promising national projects, as well as the opportunity for international participation that allows the economic zone to showcase its investment opportunities and knock on the doors of global investment.

The President of the region, Yahya Zaki, said that the Commission's presence at this exhibition and the international event was an excellent opportunity to introduce the world to the economic zone, adding that "this promising national project, which the Egyptian State attaches great importance to, as well as its distinctive geographical location and visibility on the two sides of the most important global navigation corridor, the Suez Canal, as well as the Red and Medium Bahrain, makes it the preferred investment destination for various investors in the world."

The Economic Zone stated that these events will be presented with the latest technology used through interactive screens and transmitted through live streaming on its social media platforms, the standards of which are consistent with the technological development of Expo Dubai 2020 events.
