After being adopted by one of the world's richest men, Elon Musk, small houses became a popular, modern alternative to a classic family home or apartment.

The founder of SpaceX, Elon Musk, reportedly wrote on his Twitter account last June that he lived in a $50,000 small condominium he rented from SpaceX in Texas.

According to BuzzFeed, Galeano Teramani, the founder of Boxball, which is responsible for building these small houses in the United States, said that "it's very exciting that Musk is our first customer. I think that suggests that people agree that we're working on a big project here. "

It should be noted that Boxball started working on the Small Houses Project in 2017 in Las Vegas, when they noticed a tempting opportunity to transform the home world into factory products, unlike expensive and large construction projects.

Unlike other prefabricated houses, these small houses can be folded from 6 to 2.5 metres and transported on small trucks.

The small house is 6 by 6 metres and includes a sleeping bed, kitchen, bathroom and living quarters.

Almost all of the small house's trim, such as kitchen, bathroom, electricity, plumbing and conditioning, is finished in the factory before being shipped.

So when houses reach their final destination, the house only needs to be detected (it takes a few hours) and then attached to the foundation and facilities before it is ready for accommodation.

It is reported that there are more than 47,000 people on the waiting list to get their new homes.
