Egypt's ambassador to Lebanon, Yasir Alwy, announced that Egyptian "Arab Contractors" had won the tender for the development of the Lebanese airport in Tripoli.
According to the Egyptian Embassy in Lebanon, on its Facebook page, Alaoui confirmed that "Arab Contractors" won the tender for the development of the port of Tripoli and its facilities, noting that this victory shows Egypt's highest interest in Lebanon's development.
Alaoui indicated that his country was keen to attend not only in Beirut, but also in Tripoli, Akkar, Bekaa, Tyre, Sidon, Mount Lebanon and all regions of Lebanon.
The Egyptian Ambassador promised that the "Arab contractors" would win the bidding as a first step, followed by "a number of projects to enhance the Egyptian educational presence and in the areas of technology and expertise transfer in Tripoli."
