The head of the Suez Canal Authority, Lieutenant General Osama Spring, declared Monday the success of the efforts to float the delinquent ship, the Ever Given.

On Egyptian television, it was reported that the Ivy Given was moving with engines towards the Bitter Lakes region, after being re-floated.

This saw the ship moving, as a ship tracking service showed, "Iver Geffen" in the middle of the Channel.

It should be noted that the status of the delinquent vessel has been modified following its response to the recent floating maneuver, the diameter of the vessel for floating, and the operation of the ship's maneuver to ensure its mobility.

For his part, in a statement at dawn Monday, the chief of the Suez Canal Authority said that "the scrambling maneuvers to float the Ever Given container ship were initiated by 10 giant locomotives operating from four different directions."

Rabie explained that the distribution of locomotives during the tugs during the tugs includes pulling the front of the ship in the direction of the north by the locomotive "Baraka 1" and the locomotive "Ezzat Adel" with a force of 160 tons each, while four locomotives push the rear of the ship southward and include the new locomotives "Abdul Hamid Yusuf" and "Mustafa Mahmoud" with a strength of 70 tons each and locomotives Port Said 1 and Port Said 2.

Two tugs pulled the rear of the ship south, led by the 285-ton Dutch locomotive APL GUARD, and the Mardev, and the locomotives "Haya Misr 1" and "Haya Misr 2" were involved in pushing the advance of the ship to the north.
