The Russian Minister of Economic Development, Maxim Reshetnikov, said that the Russian government is planning to impose tariffs on wheat exports from Russia, which is the largest exporter of it in the world.

According to the Russian minister, it is planned to impose duties of 25 euros for each ton of wheat exported within the export quotas, as for the quantities that will be exported outside the export quotas, a fee of 50% will be imposed, but not less than 100 euros per ton.

The minister indicated that duties will be imposed on wheat exports from February 15 to June 30, 2021.
