After the American billionaire, Elon Musk, published an opinion poll on his Twitter account, which he owns, on whether he should step down as chairman of the company,

which he stressed that he would "abide by its results," the opinion of 57,5 percent of the survey participants was "yes."

The opinion poll, unexpectedly published by Elon Musk, on the continuation of his management of the company, was attended by more than 17 million people.

The poll said: "should I step down as president of Twitter?" I will abide by the results of this survey," allowing people to choose between the answers "yes" and"no".

Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.

And about 20 minutes after the tweet was published, with the majority of votes coming closer to "yes", the billionaire posted a new tweet, in which he said with a warning: "as the saying goes, beware of what you wish for, you may get it".

Musk also interacted with a number of Twitter users, one of whom responded by saying: "the question is not to find an executive, but to find an executive who can keep Twitter alive".

He added: "No one wants a job that can actually keep Twitter alive. There is no heir".

One Twitter user"volunteered "for the post of President, to which Musk responded, saying:" You must like pain very much.. You have to invest your life savings in Twitter, which has been on the fast track to bankruptcy since last May. Do you still want the job".

Musk, one of the richest people in the world, bought Twitter for 44 billion dollars in late October, but his short period was turbulent.

Since taking over the management of Twitter, Musk has caused a lot of controversy due to the decisions he made, headed by the dismissal of senior employees of the company and a large number of its employees.

The latest of these crises was the suspension by Twitter of the accounts of a number of journalists, for one day, due to Musk's fears of publishing data related to his private jet, which provoked a wave of widespread anger around the world, before it was reactivated.
