On Friday Iran and Saudi Arabia held a surprising agreement, which promised to hold more friendly relations between the 2 big countries. This agreement gives the hope of stopping the thoughts of wars in Syria, and Yemen, and there will be good relations between the Sunni and Shiites...

The diplomatic agreement was planned since 2021 and signed after four days of talks with senior security officials in Beijing, easing

the tensions between the Middle East powers after seven years of hostilities. Both Iran and Saudi Arabia announced they will resume diplomatic relations and open up embassies once again in their respective nations within two months, according to a joint statement.

The agreement will open also other fields of cooperation in front of the Chinese sponsor adding to the Russian partner, who succeeded in its plans to end the tension in the Middle East and closes the circle on the western plots as well as will deprive the USA of its historical role in the region So that the success of the Chinese agreement between the Saudi Arabia Kingdom and Iran consider as another victory for China and Russia in front of the US advances in the world.

Iran and Saudi Arabia held an agreement On Friday that astonished all the western countries, especially the USA, which looks at the agreement with a critical concern not only for its ruled strategic role in the middle east but also for its looks in front of the world as the most controlled country over the conflicts in ME especially if we add to its role in the defense for Israel.

The concern doesn't stop on this issue only but jumped to the Chinese role and the new challenges for the USA in the Middle East...something that pushed the American politicians to rethink this dangerous issue.

Saudi Arabia, a dominant Sunni Muslim country, cut ties with Iran in 2016 after protesters stormed the nation’s embassy in Iran after the execution of a Shiite Muslim cleric along with the execution of other prisoners.

Both nations have also been on opposing sides of the deadly civil war in Yemen, with Saudi Arabia supporting Yemen’s government and Iran backing the opposition Houthis.
The USA situation isn't clear but politics pointed out that this agreement won't take its strategic role in the middle east or has an impact on the situation, yet the USA can dominate the region and lead the situation.
Speaking to reporters, National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said the U.S. was “informed” about the Saudi Arabia-Iran talks but played no role in them.

Kirby welcomed the normalization of relations between the two countries should it ease violence in the Middle East.

“To the degree that it could deescalate tensions, all that’s to the good side of the ledger,” Kirby said, adding the U.S. is not stepping back from its role in the Middle East. While he was surprised by China’s role as a mediator.

Despite the American calmness, it doesn't hide their anxiety about the Chinese mediator in Ukraine and now in the Middle East, the Political see that the USA's situation is backward around the world rather than going forward, and the proof of that is the Russian war in Ukraine and a year has passed and nothing changed.
Maybe this agreement is a reason for a new method of the USA policy in the future and sure it supported the idea that one polar power in the world is ended.
