Chinese Defense Minister's visit to Moscow confirms closer relations with Russia

After Russian President Vladimir Putin hosted Chinese Defense Minister General Li Shangfu in the Kremlin on Sunday, on a visit to the Russian capital that highlighted the increasingly close ties between Moscow and Beijing amid the fighting in Ukraine, Shangfu on Monday toured the Great Russian Military Academy, an elite institution for training senior military officers.
