Jordanian Parliament Speaker Atef Tarawneh said on Sunday that the parliamentary legal committee is preparing to sign a law to cancel the gas agreement with Israel.
Al-Tarawneh explained that the number of signatories of the Jordanian representatives on the cancellation bill reached 60, thus making it the second draft in which Jordan cancels its agreements with Israel after it withdrew the extension from the Wadi Araba agreement recently, for both the immersion and the Babora regions.
It is noteworthy that on the third of September 2014, the Jordanian National Electricity Company signed an agreement with the Israeli "Leviathan" field company, amounting to $ 15 billion over 15 years for a total of 45 billion cubic meters of gas, according to the website of the Ministry Jordanian Energy
