The Duchess of Sussex, Megan Markle, signed a contract with Disney for an elephant charity.

Megan will not receive the money as a salary. Rather, the company will provide, for Megan Services, a donation to an elephant charity called "Elephants Without Borders", an environmental conservation association focused on protecting elephants from overfishing.

Megan had already finished registering the role before she, her husband Prince Harry and their 7-month-old son Archie traveled to Canada where they spent the holiday season.

This comes at a time when the couple intends to become materially independent after separating from the British royal family and relinquishing their royal status.
