Cairo- Egypt

On Saturday, the spokesman of the Egyptian president declared afternoon on his official page that Mr. president Abdul Fattah el-Sisi has received a call phone from the American president Donald Trump where both presidents exchange the initiations to visit each other soon and maintained on their strong relations between the 2 countries.

According to Reuters Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump agreed on the need to consolidate the Gaza ceasefire deal.

The Egyptian presidency didn’t mention if both presidents discussed Trump’s call for the transfer of Palestinians to Egypt and Jordan.

The presidency said in a statement they had a positive dialogue which stressed the importance of fully implementing the first and second phases of the ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas, and the need to step up humanitarian aid shipments to Gaza.

However, the statement did not mention if they discussed Trump’s statement last week that Egypt and Jordan will host the displaced people of Palestinians from Gaza.

Sisi and Trump expressed their keenness to achieve peace and stability in the region, the Egyptian presidency statement said.

Trump’s declaration about both countries will compliment this issue and host the Palestinas as the US did a lot for them, escalate the tension between Cairo and Washington as the Egyptian people demonstrated against that.

Egyptian president El-Sisi rejected the idea on Wednesday, describing it as an “act of injustice”.

Arab foreign ministers meeting in Cairo on Saturday also rejected a transfer of Palestinians from their land, saying such a move would threaten regional stability, spread conflict and undermine prospects for peace.
