Trump Secures a Historic $600 Billion Investment Commitment in Saudi Arabia

During his visit to Saudi Arabia, US President Donald Trump announced a significant investment commitment of $600 billion from the KSA to invest in the United States.

This historic deal strengthens economic ties between the two countries, focusing on various sectors such as energy security, defense industry, technology leadership and infrastructure development. let’s recognize the major agreement that both leaders have signed today in Riyadh city the capital of the Saudi kingdom .

### Key Agreements Signed
– *Defense Sales Agreement*:

Both countries agree to cooperate with a landmark $142 billion defense sales agreement, the largest in history, providing Saudi Arabia with state-of-the-art warfighting equipment and services from over a dozen US defense firms. The package includes :
– *Air Force Advancement and Space Capabilities*: Enhancing Saudi Arabia’s air force capabilities
– *Air and Missile Defense*: Strengthening Saudi Arabia’s air and missile defense systems
– *Maritime and Coastal Security*: Improving maritime and coastal security capabilities


US and KSA also signed a deal of Energy Cooperation. The US Department of Energy and the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed an agreement for cooperation in the field of energy, focusing on innovation, development, financing and deployment of energy infrastructure.

Other agreement both sides signed;


– *Mining and Mineral Resources Agreement*:

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Department of Energy of the United States to collaborate on mining and mineral resources.
– *Space Exploration Agreement*: NASA and the Saudi Space Agency signed an agreement for a CubeSat to fly on NASA’s Artemis II test flight, measuring aspects of space weather and deploying in high Earth orbit.

#Cultural Exchange Agreements*:
– *Smithsonian Institution and Royal Commission for AlUla*:

Collaborative research and an exhibition focused on artifacts from ancient Dadan in AlUla
– *Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Royal Commission for AlUla*:

Creation of a dedicated exhibit in Washington, D.C. to support the conservation of the endangered Arabian leopard
