The Egyptian player was able to win the group stage over the Champions of Austria,

 Germany and Sweden, while losing to the Champions of Japan and Hungary.

In the next round, he beat the champion of Morocco with a score of 15-14, before bidding

 farewell to the Championship after losing to the champion of Switzerland.

A source in the Egyptian arms Federation said that the behavior of the national team player

 Mahmoud Mohsen at the last World Cup held in Switzerland by refusing to shake hands

 with the Israeli player Daniel Friedman, is 100 percent correct and legal.

The source confirmed that there were amendments made by the International Federation of

 the game last July, after a Ukrainian player refused to shake hands with a Russian player

 because of the war, under which there are no penalties for the player.

The source explained the Egyptian Federation of arms :

- Previously, the law required players to shake hands with their rivals after the end of the

 match, but the International Federation made some amendments, in order to preserve the

 safety of all players.

- The Egyptian player used his legal right and the amended regulation, which allows him not

 to shake hands with the opponent.

- Mohsen did not plan this action, but he came spontaneously in solidarity with the

 Palestinian people.

- The 23-year-old Egyptian player raised his weapon to the opponent from afar without

 shaking his hand, an absolutely non-infringing act.

- A number of officials in charge of the game in Egypt and the Egyptian embassy in

 Switzerland intervened so that the player could return to Egypt without problems, despite

 the pressures he was subjected to.
