The US technology and internet services giant Google has launched a comprehensive initiative that allows companies and organizations to develop artificial intelligence applications themselves without much effort. Google said it will add artificial intelligence functions to the office work system known as "Google Workspace".
The program includes the use of the Paradigm programming language developed by Google. Moreover, the American company wants to provide a "Maker Suite" development environment in which users can develop their own AI applications.
With this initiative in the field of artificial intelligence, Google is facing the moves of its competitor Microsoft. Microsoft, the world's largest software company, is trying to develop alternative search technologies to the traditional Google search engine, using an artificial intelligence system developed by Microsoft-acquired startup OpenAI.
Over the past years, Microsoft has suffered from being outperformed by Google in important areas such as Internet advertising and search engines.
To achieve this purpose, Microsoft has integrated GPT technology for artificial intelligence in the Bing search engine as well as in Microsoft's Internet browser. This technology is expected to be integrated into the Microsoft Office suite.
Google's new initiative comes before Microsoft's new announcement, as Andreas Braun, head of technology management at Microsoft Corporation in Germany, explained that his company will launch a new version of GBT technology called GPT4.
"There are multimedia models that will offer completely different possibilities, including video files for example," Brown said, as well as improving their support for different languages.
Google's initiative targets both companies and individual users.
