Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman invites Zelenskyy to join Russia-USA peace talks

According to a WAS said that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud invited President Zelenskyy to join today’s peace summit between Russia and USA officials. However, both the US and Russian sides reportedly insisted on holding the meeting without the Ukrainian side.

Zelenskyy accepted the invitation and head to Riyadh

Other Media sources though the refusal of the attendance of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but he will visit Saudi Arabia, where he is expected to discuss the meeting between US and Russian officials in Riyadh.

Additionally, the Crown Prince plans to inform Zelenskyy about Saudi Arabia’s role in convening the talks, as well as on his conversations with Russian and US officials.

Zelenskyy’s visit was initially scheduled for tomorrow, February 19, but Ukraine has decided to postpone it until March 10.

Meeting in Saudi Arabia

Today, February 18, the US and Russian officials held talks in Saudi Arabia. They agreed to form teams that will be in contact on the issue of ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Yesterday, February 17, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he did not know anything about such a meeting and emphasized that Ukraine would not recognize its results.

Zelenskyy added that he would ask Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud about the meeting between the Russian and American delegations.
