Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday that Russia, the world's second largest arms exporter, would implement contracts to supply weapons to Iraq.

The Russian Foreign Minister said after his meeting with his Iraqi counterpart in Baghdad: "We share the opinion on the need to implement the decisions of the Intergovernmental Committee for Trade and Economic Cooperation, held in April, and we will implement

contracts to supply military products to Iraq."
