Europe and others are celebrating the 80 Holocaust Memorial Day without the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
World’s leaders gathered today to celebrate and revive the Memorial Day of Holocaust with the absence of the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
This is due to the arrest decision against him from the international criminal court.
The momentous occasion will honor the six million Jewish people slaughtered during the Second World War.
The ceremony comes a little over one week after a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was struck ending 15 months of war in the Middle East.
Before 2 month the International Criminal Court which is located in The Hague, Netherlands, considered the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant as war criminals. Israel will be represented by its Minister of Education Yoav Kisch.
The ICC issued the arrest decision that prevented both of them from traveling anywhere.
Of course, there is anger inside the Israeli’s cabinet from preventing them from attending this historical Memorial Day, but the ICC decision won’t get back on it as it saw their crimes against millions of civil Palestinians and killed thousands of children and women.
It is announced that world’s leaders will attend and they are;
King Charles, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, French President Emmanuel Macron, King Philip and Queen Letizia of Spain, Polish President Andrzej Duda, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz
