At least 24 people have been reported missing in two large forest fires in Los Angeles County, California, and Deputy Police Chiefs are searching for them, but their number changes frequently.
According to the” German Press Agency”, conditions are still dangerous in the burning areas and there is a real threat of further fires.

Los Angeles County Police Chief Robert Luna said that although progress has been made in some areas, residents still need to be careful.
Luna added: “I don’t want the residents to think that everything is fine now . All is not well so far. We will get to this point together, but (I say) again that the wind is still blowing and will continue to blow”.

Four major fires throughout Los Angeles killed 24 people, burned more than 38 thousand acres and damaged at least 10 thousand buildings.
The newspaper “Washington Post” revealed that the fire losses in Los Angeles amount to 150 billion dollars.
