This morning, Brazilian voters went to the polls to participate in the runoff round of the presidential election, which is witnessing a clear polarization, as the current president pledged to protect conservative Christian values while the former president promised to return the country to a more prosperous past.

In the first round of Brazilian elections, on October 2 , the presidential candidate, former leftist President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva received 48% of the vote against 43% for Jair Bolsonaro.
