 Referring to the events in Northern Ireland, President Joe Biden said that Northern Ireland should "not return" to the violence that plagued it years ago before a US-brokered peace agreement 25 years ago, prompting politicians to resolve a political crisis that left this part of the United Kingdom without a functioning government.

Between 400,000 and 600,000 people plan to participate in rallies tomorrow, Thursday, throughout France, for the twelfth day of large-scale demonstrations and protests in the country at the call of the trade union against the pension reform law, which sparked a great wave of anger during the last period.

The Sheveluch volcano in far eastern Russia erupted in the early hours of Tuesday morning, spewing a cloud of ash over a large swath of the Kamchatka Peninsula, posing a hazard to flights, according to local authorities.
