Britain said today, Saturday, that it has banned visitors from Denmark, as fears mount about the spread of the Corona virus in Danish mink farms.

And Denmark again announced strict measures of general isolation and decided to cull all mink animals nationwide after the authorities discovered a mutated strain of the Corona virus in those animals.

Britain's response was to compel all travelers from Denmark to self-isolate upon arrival, but now, after receiving more information from Danish health officials, it has completely banned entry to arrivals from Denmark and excluded shipping business.

British Transport Minister Grant Shaps said on Twitter: "Visitors from Denmark will not be allowed to enter the United Kingdom."

"This decision comes with rapid action after the health authorities in Denmark recorded a widespread spread of the Coronavirus in mink farms," he added.

The British Ministry of Transport said that all non-British travelers, or resident travelers who were in or transited through Denmark during the past fourteen days, will be prevented from entering Britain, noting that the ban will be reviewed after a week.
