An American car broke the record for the fastest car in the world, and snatched the title from Bugatti Chiron.

According to Bloomberg, the "Tuatara" car, developed by the American "SSC" company, recorded a speed of 508.73 kilometers per hour, with a test on a desert highway outside Las Vegas.

The car was provided with an 8-cylinder engine that generates power up to 1750 horsepower, knowing that the design of the vehicle took a decade, and was inspired by the designs of combat aircraft.

The company plans to produce only 100 cars from its supercar to sell to customers around the world who would like to purchase it.

It is worth noting that the record for the fastest car in the world was registered in the name of the Italian "Bugatti Chiron", which achieved a speed of 490 kilometers per hour.
