After the glamorous appearance of the Royal Parade of Mummies last April, the Professor of Antiquities in Cairo, Missin Abdullah, was contacted to choose the appropriate anthems for the monumental celebration in the tourist city of Al-Asr, southern Egypt. With the opening of the El Kabbash Archaeological Road, which is the oldest archaeological road in the world. The Professor of Antiquities, Misser Abdullah, chose and checked the hymns and anthologies to be played at the ceremony.
"All the anthems are inspired by the walls of 3 temples: crank, shorter and sea monastery; It is directly related to the celebrations of the Feast of Opt. These anthologies were sung in ancient Egypt during the era of the modern state. "
In the presence of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and a number of public figures from Egypt and the world, the first of the opening hymns, the first of which was the first, was sung before the Eid al-Obit parade left the Karnak temple. The second is the chant of the call of Amun, which is inscribed on the temple of the shortest est 14 columns.
He explained that work on the selection of choruses and hymns began with the first fixtures and the preparation of the concert at the end of August, constantly communicating from then on with the conductor of the orchestra and choral of the Philharmonic Union, Maestro Nader Abbasi, to choose more than one hymn.
He pointed out that the selected hymn would not be said entirely because it was too long, and then excerpts were chosen that were suitable for the event.
It is a surprise that the hymn is documented from the walls of temples, and the instruments that will be used to play today are the very instruments depicted on the walls, in addition to the ceremonial musical appearances that existed in ancient Egypt.
On the philosophy of choosing that hymn, the Egyptian academic professor said that "everything was documented, and there was nothing in the imagination or the assumption, and we relied on such precision that one text was chosen and then reviewed more than once, then presented to the maestro, who in turn distributed the music, and then sent it back to him to review and control it again."
Members of the orchestra had experienced difficulty in dealing with the ancient Egyptian language, and there had therefore been considerable scrutiny of the choice and documentation of vocabulary so as not to make any mistakes in singing.
According to Taiseer, the ultimate objective of the celebration and the major global event is a civilised promotional operation for the tourism traffic in the city of Al-Asr after the completion of the largest project in the history of the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities to uncover the Al-Kabbash road in 1949, leading up to its opening today, after its rehabilitation, lighting and impressive preparation for the tourist movement.
The project had changed the map, structure and life of the population in the shortest, and had cost the State enormous sums since its discovery to date. It had therefore had to assume its right to celebrate and promote the world as tourism was affected by the Corona pandemic.
