A source at the British Embassy in Egypt today announced that Egypt has been removed from the list of countries to which it is advised not to travel unless necessary.

The source added: "If you plan to travel to Egypt, make sure you read our travel instructions before you travel, and make sure you're ready to travel, including by buying travel insurance that provides adequate coverage."

A source from the British Ministry of Defence said it would provide a number of staff to provide visa services to cargo drivers amid a shortage of drivers in the country following the introduction of Britain's exit from the European Union. Brexit, more than 10000 foreign workers will be temporarily allowed to work as truck drivers and in the food sector, where a number of ministers in the country are looking to save Christmas from a shortage of supplies, according to British newspaper Evening Standard.
