Barcelona crowned the Spanish Football Cup with a major victory over Atlétic Bilbao 4-0 in the final at the Olympic Stadium "La Cartoja" in Seville.
French Antoine Griezmann (60), Dutch Frenke de Young (63) and Argentine Lionel Messi (68 and 72) scored.
It is Barcelona's 31st title in the competition and their first since 2018, when it was crowned for the fourth time.
The Catalan club rebounded from Atletico Bilbao, which they beat in the final domestic Super Cup competition early this year and was crowned with the 31st title in the competition and the first since 2018 when it was crowned for the fourth time.
The Catalan club was finishing 42nd in its history (it lost 11 and won 31), a record.
In return, Atletico lost their second straight final after the first to Real Sociedad two weeks ago, and the sixteenth in its history.
Atlétek Bilbao was self-righteous to win the 24th title in its history and the first since its last coronation in 1984 at the expense of Barcelona, but the Catalan club was the best and denied it.
