France's Kylian Mbappe revealed the plan by Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pocitino, which resulted in a 3-2 victory over Bayern Munich, Germany.
Kylian Mbappe scored two goals, leading Paris Saint-Germain to a 3-2 win over title-winning host Bayern Munich, in a thrilling eight-way showdown in the UEFA Champions League.
This is Bayern's first Champions League defeat in more than two years, and the first ever under coach Hans Fleck, who had not lost in 16 previous games in the continent's top-tier club competition.
Mbappe spoke about the match, saying: "We played a big game, we suffered a little bit, but we were tough, and we did a great group performance."
He added: "Now we're going to Paris happy, but we're going to think about Saturday's meeting, against Strasbourg, and we're going to play this meeting with the same determination as today's game."
Speaking to the Bavarian Giant, Mbappé said: "Pochettino told us of the need to work to make the Byrnes suffer and swing from side to side (pitch width) with my help as well as Neymar, as well as to close the scrolling lines to Kimmich."
Mbappe concluded by saying: "Like I said after Barcelona, I like these games, and I'm not here to hide, and I always like to be a crucial player in this kind of confrontation."
Mbappé is linked to a contract with Saint-Germain that lasts until June 2022, and the French club wishes to extend its contract but rejects all attempts to date, in conjunction with news of negotiations by Real Madrid for its annexation.
It is noted that Paris Saint-Germain had annexed Mbappé from his neighbour Monaco in 2017, for 180 million euros.
