The salary bill for English Liverpool players has risen 87 percent over the past three years, causing concern for American club owners.
According to Mirur, Fenway Sport and its American owner, John Henry, are asking Liverpool administration to cut spending on high salaries, which means there are a number of players on their way out of the club.
The Mirur newspaper put 5 players on their way out of the club next summer, in a restructuring of the team, in order to cut high salaries and return to the championships.
Jenny Finaldum
Dutch midfielder Georginio Vinaldum is one of the leading candidates to leave, after reportedly agreeing to the terms of a free transfer to Spanish Barcelona.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
The English midfielder, Chamberlain, is paid a high salary, but he has not been able to return to his usual level since his strong injury two years ago.
Sheridan Shakiri
Swiss star Sherdan Shakiri, who earns £80,000 a week, may also be "sacrificed" and does not play regularly with the team.
Devoc Oregi
Despite some crucial goals, Belgian attacker Devoc Oregi is a material burden on the club, especially since he is far from the world level to which the team aspires in the offensive line.
Joel Matip
Cameroonian defender Matip became a key player, but his repeated injuries made him a burden on the team, as coach Jürgen Klopp had to find alternative solutions to make up for his repeated absences. His departure makes sense in the summer.
