In the Moroccan capital, Rabat, a meeting was held to resolve the details of the general electoral gathering of the African football confederation that is expected to take place on 12 March.

Rabat last weekend hosted a meeting between the four KAF presidential candidates and representatives of FIFA, who conveyed the recommendations of the President of FIFA.

One source revealed that "My Envoy for Infantino to Rabat has developed the scenario of the general gathering of Al Kaf scheduled for the capital of Morocco, the most important of which will be the election of South African Patrice Motsibi as President of the African Football Confederation to succeed Ahmed Ahmed."

According to the FIFA plan, which was proposed to the other presidential candidates, in order to clear the way for the South African, Patrice Motsepe, to win, both the Senegalese Augustin Sangor and the Mauritanian Ahmed Ould Yahya would be installed as first and second Vice-Presidents, respectively, with the third Ivorian candidate, Jacques Anouma, being given the post.

According to the scenario developed at the Rabat meeting. Fawzi Leggat, President of the Moroccan Football Federation and second Vice-President of the African Football Confederation, will guarantee himself a seat on the FIFA Council, as envisaged at the Rabat meeting.
