After some news and information on social media claimed that some vaccines were reducing men's fertility, new research on the specific side effects of some Corona vaccines came to an end against expectations.
Scientists and researchers from the University of Miami have studied the effects of some vaccines on the sperm count of recently vaccinated men, comparing the results to the number of sperm they had before vaccination.
The results of the study confirmed that vaccines against COF19 do not reduce the number or quality of sperm in men. On the contrary, they may increase the amount of semen produced by men.
According to the study published by the British Daily Mail, there has been no reduction in the sperm population of men who received one or two doses of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.
The team says these findings run counter to the false narrative that went viral on social media, which campaigned against the anti - corona vaccines and claimed to affect fertility.
The Panel "recruited 45 men between the ages of 18 and 50, all of whom did not have a pre-registered case of corona virus infection and showed no symptoms of the virus." As noted in the study published in JAMA Research Network
After almost a week of abstinence, before receiving the first vaccine, semen analysis was performed on men.
Their sperm count was again analysed 70 days after receiving the second dose of anti-corona vaccines.
According to the study, the average number of sperm increased from 26 million cells per mL to 30 million cells per mL, an increase of about 22%.
The largest increase in sperm numbers was around 90%, and the largest decline was around 20%. Sperm volume and sperm movement have also increased significantly.
According to the source, these increases may not be due to the vaccine and may fall within natural fluctuations in sperm numbers, but they prove that the vaccine has no effect on men's fertility at least.
