During the press conference to announce the "Nabio" 2022 Gold and Jewelry Exhibition and Conference, Egypt's Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Ali Al - Misilhi, stressed that "the consultants who set up the city are at the final stage, in accordance with President Abdel Fattah Al - Sisi's directives that the city be at the highest level."

The Egyptian Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade recently announced that the world's gold city, to be set up in the capital, is in the "finishing points" phase of the project.

Gold City will reflect Egypt's long history in this fine craft industry, with large galleries equipped, and skilled labor training to inform them of the latest industry technology.

The Minister of Supply's adviser on the gold industry, Naji Faraj, says: "The City of Gold reflects an insightful view of President Sisi, because specialized cities such as leather, furniture, etc., have an important role to play and help to bring these industries to a global level."

"The city is a global meeting place for gold fairs and schools, and will be considered a qualitative transfer of Egyptian gold, which is one of the main pillars of the country's national economy."

The Minister of Supply's Adviser for the Gold Industry noted that "the city has a great benefit in terms of globally certified gold production, along with the upgrading of the industry," explaining that it is currently being finalized and "in a little while the city's dream on the ground will come true."

The new administrative capital was chosen as the headquarters of the City of Gold, with a gold exhibition throughout the year, as well as offering special space for gold traders.

Faraj noted that "the Egyptian government is very active in mining, because Egypt is rich in areas where there is gold. Gold is not only the pillar of the State but also the pillar of trust and power for individuals. "
