In the vicinity of Moses and St. Catherine on the Sinai Peninsula, the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, was briefed on the operational position of the project "The Greatest Demonstration over the Land of Peace."

According to the statement by the Egyptian presidential spokesman, Bassam Radi, El-Sisi, "I pay attention to all the operational details of the project, in keeping with the status of that holy spot of Egypt, on which God has honoured it to manifest itself, and to offer it to humanity and peoples around the world in a manner that is appropriate in recognition of its unique spiritual value, which stems from being the incubator of the three divine religions."

Sisi directed that the project be integrated with the efforts to develop the City of St. Catherine, to place it in its rightful place, and to maximize the use of its cultural, environmental, religious and healing components, as well as the upgrading of all existing buildings and facilities.

The Egyptian President has ordered that all services be provided to visitors to this unique place worldwide, while preserving the environmental and visual nature of the place, as well as taking into account sustainable development considerations by studying the reliance on clean and renewable energy, as well as the interest in agriculture, green bodies and cultural coordination.

The spokesperson explained that all the components planned for development under the "Great Demonstration" project had been reviewed, including the establishment of a new visitors' centre, an environmental hostel, an integrated mountain hotel and a new administrative complex, as well as the development of the nomadic area, housing units, pedestrian trails, the upgrading of infrastructure and facilities, the prevention of torrents, as well as the establishment of a "peace plaza" for various celebrations, activities and performances.

The "Great Demonstration" includes the establishment of more than 14 projects, in the mountains around Wadi Tawa in the province of southern Sinai, to transform the region into a recipient of the sons of the heavenly religions.
