The American president said the same plan during his interview with the Israeli’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu, and confirmed that Washington could take control of Gaza, and build the strip to be eventually turn the territory into the “Riviera of the Middle East.” as Gaza will be under the authority of US.

Trump has doubled down on his plans to take over Gaza, writing on his Truth Social account on Thursday that “the Gaza Strip would be turned over to the United States by Israel” after the end of hostilities.

He suggested that the Palestinians would be resettled in “far safer and more beautiful communities, with new and modern homes, in the region” and would “actually have a chance to be happy, safe, and free.”

The president stated that together with development teams from across the world, the US would “slowly and carefully” begin the construction of what would become “one of the greatest and most spectacular developments of its kind on Earth.”

“No soldiers by the US would be needed! Stability for the region would reign,” Trump wrote.

“We do not need any state to run the Gaza Strip, and we do not accept replacing one occupation with another,” Qassem said. He added that rejecting Trump’s project is “not enough” and that Palestinian unity is necessary to “confront displacement.”
