Adani Airport Holdings has terminated its partnership with Turkish firm Celebi for ground handling services at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) and Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA). The decision was made after the Union government revoked Celebi’s security clearance.

Adani Airport Holdings has ended its ground handling concession agreements with Celebi, effective immediately.
The decision was taken following the revocation of Celebi’s security clearance by the Union government.
The company then has directed Celebi to hand over all ground handling facilities to ensure uninterrupted operations.

– *New Ground Handling Agencies*:
The authorities of Adani Airport Holdings said that they will provide seamless service to all airlines through new ground handling agencies selected by it.
– *Employee Transfers*:
All existing employees of Celebi at CSMIA and SVPIA will be transferred to the new ground handling agencies on their existing terms and conditions of employment.

“Following the government of India’s decision to revoke Celebi’s security clearance, we have terminated the ground handling concession agreements with Celebi at Mumbai’s CSMIA and Ahmedabad’s SVPIA. Accordingly, Celebi has been directed to immediately hand over to us all ground handling facilities to ensure uninterrupted operations,” a spokesperson for Adani Airport Holdings said.
The company has assured that ground handling operations at its airports will remain unaffected and that it is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of service and national interest .
