The highly anticipated boxing match between the British duo Connor Pain and Chris Eubank Jr. was decided to take place two years after the showdown in the British capital London was canceled.
According to the German Press Agency, organizers Eddie Hearn and Turki al-Sheikh said on Wednesday that” the match will be held in London next April, more than 30 years after the parents Nigel Bean and Chris Eubank fought in one of the greatest competitions in Britain”.

Ben was scheduled to meet Eubank Jr. in a fight at the “O-Two Arena” in London during October 2022 in a lightweight bout, but the fight was canceled due to Ben’s fall in a doping test.
Ben struggled for two years to clear his name until his suspension was lifted in November 2024.
“We signed the contract for the Conor Benn vs. Chris Eubank fight two years after the first match,”said Hearn.

In turn, the 28-year-old Bean posted via his account on the “Instagram” Network, on Wednesday, his photos from the contract signing session with Hearn and Al Sheikh.
Ben sent a message to his rival, saying: “I have known your fate”.

The 35-year-old Eubank Jr. also responded on Instagram to his rival with a message saying: “you have signed your death sentence”.
It is worth noting that the parents of the players had two fights in 1990 and 1993.
