Castle Journal ltd International British Press, under its newspaper version CJ Global, has issued a strong condemnation of the “war of starvation” allegedly being waged by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians in Gaza. The statement, from Owner/Founder/CEO Dr. Abeer Almadawy, calls out what it considers deliberate war crimes aimed at exterminating a people through hunger and siege.

Castle Journal International British Press, strongly condemn the war of starvation waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in Gaza, led by the Israeli Prime Minister and his government. The deliberate killing of defenseless civilians under the false pretext of “fighting Hamas” – which operates from abroad and is itself protected by known actors – is nothing but a cover for heinous war crimes, aimed at exterminating an entire people through hunger, siege, and destruction.

Starvation and mass killing are crimes against humanity by every international standard, and global silence is nothing less than complicity in this historic atrocity.

We also condemn the continuous assaults on the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the attempts to undermine its national security by pressuring it to accept the forced displacement of Palestinians into Sinai. These pressures are coupled with the Israeli occupation’s violations of international agreements and with orchestrated propaganda campaigns that falsely accuse Egypt of besieging Gaza – while in reality it is Israel that has closed all crossings, including Rafah. Even more alarming, these pressures have escalated into blackmailing Egypt over its lifeline – the Nile waters – threatening more than 120 million Egyptians with thirst and annihilation, in exchange for concessions that serve the Israeli project under the cover of American administration.

We further denounce the repeated attacks on Egyptian embassies around the world, orchestrated by the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood through false propaganda and direct incitement. Likewise, we condemn the assaults on Egyptian diplomats, who face smear campaigns and harsh retaliation merely for defending themselves.

Our third condemnation is directed towards the Arab and Muslim community, which does nothing beyond demanding that Egypt act, while simultaneously condemning it – all the while many of them rush into normalization with Israel, ignoring its crimes against the Palestinian people and its direct threats to Egypt and its national security.

At Castle Journal International British Press, we stress that silence is no longer an option. The international community – governments and organizations alike – bears full responsibility to act immediately to stop this humanitarian and political catastrophe, before history writes yet another indelible mark of shame on the world’s conscience.
